Here's How I Nailed it!

Miracles happen everyday, change your perception of what a miracle is and you'll see them all around you. ~ Jon Bon Jovi

This journey has been a strange yet an amazing one. It has changed my philosophy at every point. When I landed in Canada, I used to think of my survival. Things that I would do. The pressures that I will have to deal with. Pressures of paying my dues and of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I realized it at a very young age that we can not be everywhere at all times. Sometimes, you just need to be in the moment and make the best out of it.

Since I had realized this, I focused on appreciating the small wins in my life. It is often said, "In life, it is the smaller things that matter". I believe anyone with this philosophy can go a long way. When I am at the gym, I focus on one exercise per day. The reason why I do this is because focusing on one muscle group helps us appreciate the growth of that one muscle group without over exerting. Here's how this philosophy has helped me in other aspects of life -

  • Food and Nutrition - With having small wins over portioned food and nutritional rotations, my body feels filled and energetic at all times. I do not always plan what I am going to eat in the next weeks but after trying different food combinations, I just know what kind of food suit my body type. So, I just make something out of that food group and maintain the consistency.

  • Mental Growth - When we focus on smaller wins over bigger gains, it is easier for our mind to adapt with the change. For example, If I was expecting to see six packs in six days, but end up loosing weight without seeing any major changes, I would feel bogged down and so would many other people. So, Important thing is focusing on the smaller moments of this journey.

  • Physical Growth - On the same note, Physical gains are much easier to accept with a change in mental growth. A pace gets set in our routine and it boosts our confidence to achieve our physical goals.

It is definitely a challenge when we have a busier routine to adapt. It is tough with many things going in our lives but our Mentality is what's going to guarantee us a longer/Healthier life. I try to help all my subscribers with providing them a well balanced and nutritional diet but it is really on us how we see our way through. How we build our foundations and these are what makes us who we are.

Hope you have/had a Great Sunday!

Stay Gallant, Stay Healthy.
