The question that I hear from my friends now a days “Am I eating right?”, “What should I focus on to stay healthy?” or “What am I doing wrong?”. As your Nutrition Assistant, I would suggest to start from certain habits that will help you start this journey. These habits are very important for a healthy lifestyle. Below are some that I firmly believe mean a lot to myself.

1. The Way of Water
Water is the purest form of hydrating liquid, resulting in improved cardiovascular function. Ample amount of water prevents body from overheating and cleanses toxins from the body. Body sugars play an important role in weight gain but with sufficient amount of water, the sugars are balanced and supporting weight loss. It improves brain functions and boosts performance by revitalizing the muscles.

2. The Shine of Early Risers
There is no hiding that early risers achieve more through out the day compared to those who are not. They not only have an improved sleeping pattern, but also get time to organize their daily schedule. I have felt that it is easier for me to prepare my meals and go out for a walk when I wake up early. I feel morning freshness is required as our body uses sunlight to convert body cholesterol into Vitamin-D. As an early riser myself, I feel I can concentrate better and get more things done in a day. I feel we have more day time to work, allot proper time to the gym and any extra curriculars.

3. Exercise
Our diet is responsible for the 90% of our growth. But along with a proper diet, exercise plays a crucial role. It is important to convert these power foods to shape our body. Exercise helps us attain that goal. Regular exercise has proved to increase human life expectancy due to decreased rate of illness. A morning walk and stretching is the best way to start with a healthy lifestyle. It lowers the rate of cholesterol in the body and reduces the risk of heart attacks. It makes our bones stronger and muscles healthier. Exercise also improves skin with the help of increased blood flow and regular body movement.

4. The Diet
Selecting the source of your nutrition and proteins is an important aspect of healthy living. Green vegetables and fruits have been scientifically proven to have the best health benefits as these are filled with essential vitamins, minerals and proteins that are natural and better adapted to the human body. Why is eating junk not healthy?
Lets start with sugar as an example, having unnatural sugar increases the risk of diseases like diabetes and also several other heart diseases. Also, sugar are not stored easily in our body. It is the reason why people cannot lose their belly fat and sugar finds its residence in our belly causing our sides and lower belly to swell. Eating a burger or pizza is not bad and yes, a lot of dieticians provide pizza as a choice but it is only acceptable if you are exercising at the minimal level almost every day. Junk substances are hard for our body to digest and essentially have no healthy nutrients. This makes it easier for the undigested food to turn into fat and get stored unless exercise is in act.
My Diet plans have been tested on myself and I have tried these combinations for last 4 years. I have the experience that most search for and I am willing to share this knowledge with those who are hungry to achieve a new level.
