This is what Happened in just 30 DAYS!

It all started about 4-5 weeks ago. With Summer at its peak, trips to the beach are not rare anymore. Spending time near the water with sand roaring heat and a bucket filled with chilled beers, seems like a get away to me. I have been into fitness for the longest stretch now but there comes a time when even gym lovers like me need to say, "Let's take a Break". Living in Canada is not that easy. With Winter taking almost 7 months from an year, it feels like Summer Lovers are alive for those 5 months only. So, just about 5 weeks ago, I realized that I need a combination to enjoy my summer and still stay in the best of my shapes.

It was just another day at the beach and I felt like going for a dip. Took my shirt off and went right into the water. My friends and I are very photogenic so seemed like a nice occasion to get a picture. Looking at those pictures, I was amazed to see the weight that I had gained over past few months. Not that I was not consistent with what I do at the gym, but because I was eating like a WILD BOAR. I have broken this 30 day journey in 3 phases. The Realization Phase, The Action Phase and The Change.
The Realization Phase - I had accepted the fact that this weight was not going to go away that easy. I had to work hard on a fitness plan. A plan that would consist of some healthy, some junk food that I can enjoy. If I had to work on this plan, I needed a perfect combination of Proteins, Carbohydrates, Vitamins and Minerals.
